Each dog at Oak Haven Great Danes is first and foremost a member of our family. They truly are a key component to our every day joy and happiness. The dogs we have chosen for our kennel have been carefully considered for breeding based on health, temperament, and structure. It is important to us that each breeding that occurs is done with the intent to preserve this amazing breed.
All of our dogs do enjoy competing and showing themselves off in the show ring, but more importantly they enjoy living the lives of dogs. They never turn down the opportunity to go boating, swimming, hiking, or traveling. They love meeting new people and exploring new places.
Although we do strive to produce puppies who will be successful in AKC performance events, we also understand that not every family is looking to do so. We always consider families who are looking for a companion who does nothing more than lounge around on the couch and provide unconditional love and joy for years to come.
